ZIDO has impacted the work that HIPZ is doing in the health field and is absolutely invaluable. The support ZIDO has given provides meds, baby formula, equipment and built several wards thus helping saved countless lives of the Zanzibari people all over the island. Due to the consistent support over the years from ZIDO, the world is a better place.

I had the privilege of working with ZIDO, twice. I got to witness and contribute actively in various projects related to education, medical and food distribution. What impressed me was how ZIDO worked with locals and supported various projects that were already happening. Everyone was treated with respect and dignity and with ZIDO you felt like a big human family of all faiths, races, gender and socio economic status. I would encourage all to contribute to ZIDO in whatever way possible.

Working with ZIDO was an opportunity of a lifetime. It gave me insight into another way of life, and showed me how kind and loving humans can be. It changed me for the better, and I'll always be grateful for the experience.

The journey to Zanzibar, has made me become more appreciative of my life, my family and friends. My personal issues are nothing like what the people in Zanzibar have to endear on a daily bases. I was touched by the communities of how welcoming, friendly and happy they are, especially the children. This trip would not been possible without volunteers from ZIDO, Rehana, Saleem and Sabrina. For that I am truly grateful to have experience this opportunity in a life time. This will forever be dear to my heart
